Im sorry to break the lines of beautiful & how she looks.... but this is also a forun for critiuqes- how to improve upon the image and use for future references- so here it goes. Yes- it is a beautiful portrait, but I'm wondering why her skin looks "blotchy"- almost like she's sunburned. Something in the postwork has her skin tones varying too much light & dark where at some points there is distinct lines between such values rather than a gradiation or softness. Also- for such a romantic type of portrait- maybe soften the image more- esp around the edges. Just suggestions on something to watch for & improve on in future portraits.

@DeviousMoose. I guess you didn't get the connection between this image and my other image "Sara." She is blonde and were sailing for a week and the sun was out every day. Sara has lots of freckles and she was sunburned. I tried to keep her complection natural and not like those phoney airbrushed images you see in the fashion magazines.

Somehow you managed to capture the "radiance" people are always talking about. I love the smoothing effect - I'm not sure what filters were used, but the result is stunning. This is truly wonderful photography.
