Description

AlooooHa Ya'll! Hope everyone is enjoying their Sun. and of course getting some great shots! Took a trip up to Volcano village this morning hoping to catch some mist and great light. I pretty much caught neither as it was clear of fog, but quite overcast..boooo! While driving around I spotted this little powder puff in a ditch on the side of the road. It called, I shot it, here it is. Not what I had intended to shoot, but sometimes you gotta work with what ya got. Just a little reminder to all who are learning macro: Don't get to close, manually focus as much as possible, and always, always use a mono pod, or preferably a tripod. I can't count the times I had a beautiful capture blurred to hell by the slightest movement. Nuff said... As always, best viewed at full size...sorry this one is kinda big, but I wanted the detail to show in this. Mahalo for you comments left on my last images, it's inspiring!! Have a great Sun. and a wonderful week....Aloha!

Powder puff? LOL! How cute is that name!!! It looks alot like dandelions doesnt it? But powder puff sounds soooo much cooler! Like a superhero-gang or some kind of cereal, lol. Beautiful photo once again buddy. These all would make a beautiful calender. Have a great sunday! #:O)

Serendipity, talent, and a keen eye combined to create a strikingly beautiful photo my friend. Did you use a scrim?

Making the ordinary extraordinary. That is what a real photographer is made of. Another great job. I believe the "powder puff" is happy. Aloha
