Description

AlooooooooHa! Howsit everyone! Took a trip to Waipio Valley about a 2 hr. drive from my house with Sharky (Errol) in his new Titan 4 Wheel drive truck. This valley is only accessible by 4 wheel drive trucks and I was styling in Sharkys new truck going down the steep incline to the valley floor. The incline is at about a 45 degree in angle in spots and about 1/4-1/2 mile drive to the floor of the valley. If you lose your brakes or somehow can't stop, your toast. We left Sharky's around 4:00am and arrived at Waipio at about 5:30, just in time for the sunrise. This image really doesn't do this place justice as it is so incredible beautiful with it's black sand beach and twin waterfalls. I could have spent a week here and not got tired of the view. Thanks Errol, I hope we can do it again soon. I will post a few more after sunrise if Sharky hasn't posted the same ones before me... This is a beautiful shot. I love the colors! I wish I was there! I love that you have some of the shore in the shot in order to really help put a feeling for where you were in the viewers mind. Thanks for sharing.

The full sized image is simply awesome. I wish that Rendy would go back to the old system of full sized images. The new system simply doesn't do justice to photos. But I digress. Naturally, I'm impressed with the beauty of the morning lite and seascape, but gee, would I love to see those waterfalls!!! An amazing image! Thank you for sharing. PS - I have a Nisan Titan 4WD too!
