Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us.  Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!Â

Nothing here to charge-perfect -D

I'd have had the mouse's snout a little bit further down her nose, like two noses together. This is an all but perfect photo. On second thoughts I wouldn't change a thing.

Fancy mouse? LMAO!!! You ask for constructive critizism do ya? Well okay then....i cant think of a single thing actually. This photo is utterly perfect....speaking of utters....how about putting one of those on her face next? You know...create a little series, lol. Beautiful work Jodie, and such a cute daughter you have btw....not to mention Stuart Little over there. Adorable couple. Have a wonderful day. #:O)

I would think the whiskers must have tickled her nose. A very cute shot.

I have a picture somewhat like this of me when I was about her age.. But it wasn't a mouse.. it was my pet RAT! Great shot!

Your special gift is the ability to capture captivating moments. What a lovely smile. Now, if you could just get your daughter to smile too... Sorry, Jodie - I couldn't resist. I know, I'm bad - Lori says so all the time. I really do love this shot, tho. Terrific!

Great shot. I love that your background blurs out to make your subject pop so well. They are both cute. I love that you can see she is about to laugh. It makes me think that maybe his wiskers are tickling her.

Nothing wrong with this. I can almost feel the tickle of the mouse on my nose!

Shades of the movie, WILLARD! Okay, Jodie, it's a cute shot, with your usual flair for a superb macro contrasted against a wonderfully blurred background, but I think the mouse should have been nuzzling the very tip of your daughter's nose instead of the bridge. Another option would be for your daughter to hold her head back with her mouth open, holding the mouse by the tail, pretending/preparing to swallow it. Harry the Hugger

This is absolutely cute. And a great shot. Reminds me of the little mouse I had years ago... I can't think about anything to change in this picture, it's just perfect like this :-)
