Description

A view of my neighbor from the roadside taken with a Nikkor (70-210mm) lens. I love the striped patterns he makes without knowing it. I like how the lens compresses the foreground and the background! Thanks for stopping by. Jodie :0)

This is different. I've looked at this for a wee while now, so I must like it. Those lines are verrrry intreguing. Bet you get your crop circles in 3D or something even fancier! They remind me of those little bottles full of different coloured sand. 5* Original and well executed.

Interesting composition, the forground suggested tractor works brilliantly in the image. I like the way the lines of the field curve back into the image on the lower right. Contains a lot of nice line and movement ...Di

Is your neighbor always driving his tractor under the influence? Theres not a straight line there, lol. I agree with Anthony, it does look like those multicolored-sand-thingies. Dont you love it when they bring in the hay....every horsefly around seem to gather for that particular event....shivers. Beautiful photo, that tractor in the foreground sure make alot of difference. Have a swell day. #:O)

The title is such a nice play on words! Love it! I think the dramatic thing about this image is that the lines play with the eye, like a combination of BOTH pincushion and barrel effect. Nice capture, Jodie! Oh, I meant to tell you I came across a field of bee balm the other day, complete with a set of hives. I recognized the plants because of your post. Cool! Thanks... :)

This portrays lazy summer days - well - except for the farmer! Lovely light in this and carefree feel of days gone by.

It's always fun to see the differnet ways the farmer mows his fields, and then how they bale the hay??? It's a nice comforting smell to me... lovely image!!!!!

Besides the excellent composition and textures, I like how the two tractors tell a story. I can hear the quiet punctuated by the approaching tractor and smell of fresh cut hay. It's like the first page of a good novel.
