Description

This butterfly is the Comma, so named because of a white comma shaped mark on the underside of the wings. The Latin name is Polygonia c-album and it is a member of the Nymphiladae sub species of butterflies. They are numerous and adapt themselves well to take advantage of favourable conditions. Many thanks for viewing and comments. Richard.
