Description

Nikon 7900 image. Although this image is the 5th and last in this series, it is actually the first Robber Fly shot I ever got. There are slight color differences between this species (Bearded Robber Fly) and the Giant Robber Fly species the rest of the series shows; and they have different looking tails, but essentially they are very similar. The ones I have come across so far, have all been great subjects because for some reason, I have had very good success with getting them sharply focused. Not sure why. Even though I have a number of other creepy critters captured, tomorrow I will switch to something entirely different and a lot less intimidating, lol. I hope the series was enjoyed and that this pic is worth the click. Lee

Very nice work. At the cost of showing I know nothing technical about photographing, I want to say I enjoy these pictures that you impose the image over the border. Very nice.
