Photography has pretty much changed my life, in that, I look at every little thing differently now. I get so much pleasure being outdoors and finding new things to photograph. It gives me a tickle inside! I love the birds and flowers and all of nature so much. Sharing these treasures with all of you is very much a pleasure too. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking them! This has been one of the most fun things I ever done... joining this community, it's given me more courage and confidence to explore what I really love to do... A BIG HUGE THANKS to all my friends here!!!!!!

Sometimes when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways it can change someone else's life forever...

An unusual & creatively framed photo of a fascinating landmark. I read the linked page & it certainly does have a strange history. Thanks, Akemi, for pointing out another place that I will have to put on my "must visit" list..

A 12 foot fresnel lens!!! Wow, I'd like one for my camera! LOL Just kidding. What a great photo, capturing the light and lens in operation. It must have been a bit spooky on the sprial stairs - not well lit there I suspect. But certainly worth the great photo.
