Description

I guess we all lie. I've told girlfriends that I liked their outfits, or hairstyles. I'd be stupid not to. But there is another kind of lying and cheating, especially by those in high places, or those looked up to for whatever reason. That kind of lying is done without conscience, without a fear that it might come back and bite you. They assume that if they are found out, that a good excuse will always work and... in today's world, that seems to be true in many cases. There used to be a place in our minds that told us in a loud scream, "Don't do that, or you'll get caught". It might have been called honor, or common sense, or self-preservation. We see less and less of it nowadays. I think it's mostly gone the way that our tails once did. Evolution.

Well done ! At this point in time I have no recollection of any such occurrence ever having occurred, to the best of my recollection. It's called "Plausible deniability".

Oh! That's so warped. Still, very deftly executed (no pun intended) idea. Great lighting in a deceptively minimalist pic. Bravo!

One hell of a way to get rid of piles! Anyone who wants to be a leader should atomaticly be disqualified for any posision of power!

Great work! Wish we could get one of these installed in the White House, though I'm not sure who belongs in it the most, the politicians or the voters that put them in power.

Very true, I like to think hanging on is important. I steer clear from lying because of this nasty little voice that creates tremendous guilt for days or weeks! Began when I was a child, I learned early on. Too bad we can't can and sell it! (=

Ah yes, those that live by the code; plausible deniability. Nicely illustrated.
