Description

Made the bed in Hexagon and needed a scene to show it. With the purple and black, it made me think of what Morticia Addams might have been like at about seven years old, so I added her. Curtains are a terrain, leaves are a Bryce tree, squashed and with the trunk made invisible.

my wife and I had a good friend, who recently died, who as a teenager painted the walls and ceiling of his bedroom black, had black curtains, black bed spreads and sheets. He always laughed and called it his "black period." He was a cheerful and optimistic guy, too--as well as a gifted organist. Your picture reminded me of him. (A good thing.)
