Description
This photo, innocent as it may seem, got me thinking.
It is of an old Volvo stationwagon, one brought over from Europe many years ago. Obviously this is an old license plate.
Oddly it got me thinking philosophically.
Why be one for Connecticut?
Why be one for any state?
Why be one for any place?
Why be one for any people?
Why be one for anything?
Why be one?
Why be?
Sorry to go off on a tanget here, but it is Saturday and it is happy hour...why be one for happy hour...oh, why not?

Nice! I owned Volvos's for many years. Now I am saving a spot in my garage for an Aston Martin. Yeah, I know, It seems far fetched but I got a plan and a space for it. As far as the photo commentary goes. TOO DEEP and too little time! It's a state of mind!! Got me going though. Thanks KP

They are boxy, but good ? (Volvo's, a line from a movie with Robin Willams) YB 14...Young Body 14 ? neat capture and thought provoking, but I really loath those cars and the drivers of those particular vehicles, they wear stoopid hats while driving them, well under the speed limit...what's the story there ? Cheers

Ahhhhhhhh.....Why indeed???? Love this shot and the thoughts it provoked. BTW....I ALWAYS have deeper thoughts during and after happy hour. I drive an 85 Volvo...a good old car...and it's not especially pretty...but has taught me the lesson of the value of a dollar and also the getting from point A to point B in a frugal manor. :o)b PS....I don't have a stoopid hat and I am often seen doing at LEAST 60....LOL

I have to agree with Akemi.That's exactly what I find fascinating about your work and your uploads.You always make us work just a little bit harder when we see it,lol.(Well,at least those of us who care to look and listen...and think,doh(!).Now,there's a concept,lol.)
