This was an experiment in hand-manipulation I posted some time ago and virtually nobody liked it. I just ran across it looking for another image and discovered that I still like it at least. It was the first time I used my graphics tablet, and was great fun to do. So up it goes again. The photo was taken with my camcorder because I didn't yet have a still camera (and my little Canon doesn't have much of a zoom any way). When I color corrected it in Photoshop, I was annoyed by the parked cars in the background, so I grabbed my new WACOM and started smudging out the background just for the heck of it. Since I liked the effect, I continued smudging and stroking the whole thing.
