Description

The deer at Hurricane Ridge National Park, on the Olympic peninsula, in northwest Washington, are very tame, but I had to wait quietly for about five minutes for this one to come out from behind the spruce tree where she was eating. This was the best shot I got of her. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

What is there to say? Perfection. Your patience certainly paid off. I did wonder what are the huge flower heads like Angelica or Cow Parsley.

I'm glad you waited patiently for her to appear. What a beautiful picture. I like being able to see the detail of her ears - I've never been close enough to one to see the inside of their ears.

Wow, Dennis, that's an AWESOME shot!!! So clear, and such wonderful depth. Perfect composition too. This is one of those photos to treasure. The chance doesn't come often, and few people are good enough to make such a capture. Wonderful!!!
