Description

In all the world there has to be A gentler place for you and me Where weary souls can rest and finds Sweet release from the pain that binds Us to the one that caused our distraught Because our love was all for naught A place where our poor hearts can mend So that we might learn to love again And rebuild our trust in woman, in man With a little time I know we can Find this place where beauty reigns And bring our hearts home once again For our children

Wonderful in everyway! I have felt such Pain, and I realize it was because I felt such Love! I love the last verse most of all! :) Bravo!

I'm intrigued by the photo Michelle. I want to know what's at the end of the path. There are not enough paths in this world. And many are hard to see unless one is looking for it. I always have my eyes wide open for a new path to explore. Makes life more interesting. Outstanding verse too young lady. I don't know which is worse.. to lose a love by design or by chance. Both are painful in their own ways. I've only felt one type (chance) and hope never to feel the other. I never had my own kids but have always been surrounded by others kids. Many of which thought of me as a father type. Perhaps better than a father because I was often their confidant. Too many fathers don't get to enjoy that role with their kids. I read once that "When you are at peace with yourself, anyplace is home." Words to live by. Again.. Excel verse and image! Hugs from Dave :^)

I must agree with you. There must be a place.... A very emotional and evocative image and poem/prose. I so agree with what you have written and think the image is a perfect illustration for it. Excellent in both arenas. Imaginative and moody and wonderful.
