Description

One of my first shots from a few experiments using my new Canon ef-s 60mm ultrasonic macro. The ultrasonic is not much good for this type of focusing so you just go manual but the lens is fantastic. I will experiment further adjusting depths of field because it's a little too narrow in this shot. We have dragonflies in the garden. If only they would be still for long enough.

Yeah dragonflies are a pain in the ass. Pretty much like bumble-bees....they never freezes it seems. Flies does though...as we all can see in this marvelous macro. Love the details that can be seen. I can count every hair on its body if i want...although i dont, lol. I like the shallow DOF by the way. Have a great day. #:O)

This is awesome. I'm a sucker for macros like this. It shows so much details that we don't stand a chance at noticing when "Frank Fly" is whirling annoyingly around our heads :) Keep it up.
