Description

Here you see two photos. The one on top is the post photo and the one on the bottom is photo that came out the camera. she was ordering a mix drink and I was talking to my wife brother. I post him later on. I use flash at times and other times I do not use flash. I playing around to see what what. I know the rent photo man have a big flash but his is defizzed spelling lol anyway his flash is soft compare to the flashes on the compace camera's. She can talk and hear normal. She knows sign for the deaf. She made friends with one at a very early age and she learned it. Better than what I did. First year in collage I was in a park and came up upon a party. I thought it was weird they had no music or noise? Then I saw them moveing they hands in all types of ways. Then some came up to me and started moveing they hands and makeing noises at me. I freak out; my mind was goen. I started to run away as fast as I could and never looked back. This is a true story of what I did the first time I came into contact with deaf people. And I was 18 at the time. LOL If you all bore with these photos or the storys I tell[true ones]please tell me. I move on lol. I hate to bore people or get on they nerves. Did that today with a biker lol. Well I did what I did with the biker and leave. The biker have nothing to do with this image. I post him later. Chaseing rabbits again lol

She looks a little suspicious, maybe of the bartender and maybe you taking her picture. That looks like some kind of alien behind her, maybe he knows from very exotic drinks to mix up. Nice candid shot and a great story.

Jocko, I really like the top photo the best...a wonderful atmospheric effect, almost amorphous. The bottom photo isn't bad, but almost looks like a fireworks display. BTW, who's the doll? As for interfacing with deaf people, I used to work with some many years ago, and what I remember mostly is that when I would speak on the telephone, some of them would be watching and reading my lips, so for sweet revenge I pretended to be cussing and swearing on the phone. It was most hilarious to see their shocked expressions. Nowadays I would just cover my mouth so no one would read what I was saying while I was speaking.

I like the bottom one best. It is a little dark and mysterious. I little post work in photoshop to deepen the shadows and bring out the girl and lights is all you need. Excellent raw image. I couldn't see any grain in the shadow areas. I can't keep grain out of my shadows. Excellent!! P.S. I love stories.

Good post work, Jock; though I think if you 'split the difference' in brightness between these two, it would be just perfect. While the top image reveals much more detail, some of the mood is lost, I think.

Your explanation makes it possible to include/understand, the contained air of your principal subject. It is sometimes difficult to render comprehensible with deaf people, that they do not interessent us not because they are handicapped, but because one has something to say to them. Your two photographs with and without flashes are completely different. The very illuminated first, us makes understand that one is in a part that of bottom, can make believe that it is taken to the experior. The flash moreover adds grain to the stereotype. Very beautiful development too.
