Description


Nikon 7900 image. Yesterdays posting was of the discarded empty husk left behind by a cicada after it emerged from it's underground life and molted into a flying form. Todays posting is of a cicada shortly after emerging from it's husk. This guy was still working on getting his wings pumped up and stiff enough to fly. Tomorrows posting will present a closer view of this species. I hope the pic was worth the click. Lee
