Description

Hello!! Well, here is yet another flower that was locked up in the zoo. I of course have no idea what it is. This isn't the best picture of it but it's as close as I could get. The petals are fuzzy-looking and very colorful. I really liked how the sun was lighting this one up. Hope you guys like it too! :) Thanks for the encouraging comments on my last upload, Pretty Parrots. To those few that comment on most of my images faithfully, I want you to know how much it means to me. And for those new faces that comment, I really appreciate you, too. :) Thanks for taking a peek and hope you all have a wonderful day! :)

Beautiful shot indeed. Truly stunning light. This flower is a Protea, a plant native to South Africa. Thank you for showing her beauty to us all. Hugs. Di.

The colours are beautiful - a translucent red! Di is right, my guess would be the narrow leafed protea (nerifolia) and is indigenous to South Africa.

Just a untique bloom and a very good pov with excellent lighting. Adding your skill with your camera - Great job and very eye-catching.
