I agree the colors are vibrant but almost too vibrant. These birds are lovely, aren't they? I am not sure but I think maybe it might appear less fuzzy around the edges if it the colors were not quite as bright... maybe not. I'm not an expert for sure. Still, the composition is great and I know how difficult it is to get a clean shot of a song bird. Good job.

The finch blends incredibly well into his surroundings. Eye catching in every respect.

this series was shot at 6:22am 12 minutes after bright sun rose in cloudless sky. That special Golden soft light and experimenting with using wrong white balance (used cloudy instead of sunny)setting in camera gives it a bit more saturation. I find the results quite dramatic. What do you think?
