Nikon D70 digital w/28 to 300mm Sigma lens..
F7.1 @ 1/90 secs at 300mm. Thanks for viewing and HaPPY CLICKING. this series was shot at 6:22am 12 minutes after bright sun rose in cloudless sky. That special Golden soft light and experimenting with using wrong white balance (used cloudy instead of sunny)setting in camera gives it a bit more saturation. I find the results quite dramatic. What do you think?

that is one awesome close-up indeed! Beautiful larva...that hopefully someday will turn into an even more beautiful butterfly....thats how it works right? LOL. Beautiful saturated colors. Have a great day. #:O)

The blue shadow, the strong yellow lighting, the orange and the green in the scene compliment the catepillar very nicely. A handsome capture.

I like the colours of the pebbles that seem to match the catepillar, your lighting is nice, I will have to give that techinque a go.
