This is just the beginning of a series of hummingbirds in my back yard, 2nd day with a feeder and these little guys are amazing, hope you enjoy the photos as much I am enjoying the struggle to capture them...Its like an obsession....

I know the part about obsession. #:o) Dont know what its like capturing hummingbirds though since we dont really get em where i live. But i can imagine it to be quite a challenge. This is really a great shot and im sure youre quite pleased with it...as you should be. Perfect crop as well. Have a great one. #:O)

Great capture of the hummingbird. I live in AZ and have them flying all over the place all the time. They are fast but they do tend to sit in one place for a few minutes at a time.

Beautiful. I can only imagine how it is to live in a place where such little ones are just flying around :)

nice sharp shot. they actually need to sit still for quite long periods while digesting their food, but they prefer to do so in cover and or in a place where they feel safe.
