Description

Hi all, Sorry I haven't spent more time here in the last few days :( Thought a break might be a good idea but I seems the "think" process caused some problems.... My camera started to grow this strange stuff on it.... I had to GOOGLE it... Seem they call it "dust" o_O Well luckly it was an easy fix all I had to do was wipe the stuff off but there were warnings that some could grow back... Anyway I found me a my precious (yeah that butty).... I took over 200 shot of it and there are about to that are okish *sigh* so then I got to the galleries and what do I see? Jinet has uploaded some of the most awesome macro shot over the past few days *sigh* YOU GO BUDDY! ;) Sooooo I'm now rambling like Andreas... sighs once more.... His is worth reading unlike this... Anyway I'll try to catch up in the next few days..... I'm not to sure about this shot once again ARGH! :(.... Hope someone likes it though... Probably best viewed at the full size! ;)
Oh and a big thanks for all comments on my previous shot: My previous picture</div></body></html>

I think it's awesome! Poor butty - looks like it just about survived a war! ;0) Excellent work Kai! Yeah, the dust is growing on this side as well. I'm starting with my course tonight though, so it should be remedied soon ;0)

ROTFLMAO!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! You crack me up buddy!! How do you manage to sound so depressed and yet so cute? LOL! And hey....if anyones rambles are useless and pointless...its mine. Okay? Your ramble is at least amusing, lol. And you did spam some amazing photos that Jinet uploaded. They were freaking awesome indeed! And so is this one! The selective coloring is perfect and the texture of that wood also looks gorgeous. And the final touch....the nail!!!! The poor butty could use a make-over though. That poor thing seems to have been through alot. Maybe he accidently happened to fly through some cross fire or something. LMAO@your incident with the dust, lol. Hey...how ya like this ramble by the way? YOU SET ME UP FOR IT!!!!!! AAAAAAARGGGH!!!! Now i better walk ms Doggie. See ya later!!! #:O)

This is a beautiful butterfly and an old lady if looking at the deteriorating state of the rim of the wings. She has spread her glory far and wide... Nice colouring.

Do you have an ID? :)) Sounds like a cop eh! :P Oh well.. I really need to know, its kinda interesting.. Perfect use of selective color here and it really stands out against the vertical textured patterns of the wood. Well done and welcome back! =]

I like it ! The composition is great and I like the selective colour use. The butty is a bit battered which seems to go well with this old wood for a background - excellent image !

Ditto Richard.I was thinking the same thing. The weathered wood perfectly compliments the weathered butterfly.Nothing 'B' class about this shot,Kai.

Like it? I love it! Beautiful butterfly, and the selective coloring works perfectly in this image - the wooden material (wall?) it's sitting on looks great in and of itself - the structure/texture lends itself well to b&w. And then you have this wonderful splash of color as a bonus:) Excellent work!
