Description

Hello there fellow strangers.... :D Yes there's drama coming your way... Let me tell ya!... Well spring is on it's way here, I saw 2 butties today :D I mean how cool is that? Ok I wont be too boastful cause we dont get many different ones here that I know about :( Today I found out that it is very dangerous to take pics of them.... I GOT STUNG!!!! DOH... No the butty didn't sting me lol... It was in a patch of stinging nettle that did all the stinging... DOH again *sigh* yeah I can take hundreds of wasp pics and they leave me alone, bees too not to mention fighing with the spiders... BUT NO... I have to get stung by a stupid plant? *shakes head* I'm ashamed of myself! LOL... Got a pic of how it all took place already? LOL yeah *rolls eyes* If you don't this is how it goes... I found a butty like the one in my previous pic... Except today it seemed to enjoy hanging around the nettle... Well I had jeans and a warm top that protected the arms... So I kinda thought I could crawl safely in the stuff but after creeping up to the lill fella... SAFE AS... I stared to try compose a shot of it... Well pov wasn't good enough obviously so I lowered the hands...INTO THE PRICKLES!!! DOH ARGH.... Then butty flew awaya and I've still got a tingly hand... (it got me on the wrist) Anyway... So no pics of a butty today but I do bring something rather beautiful to you.... It's a daffodil :D... In two days time it's Daffodil Day here in nz and that's the like to it if you want to know more about it... ;) I'm getting lazy here *gasps*... So hope you enjoy it, I know it's very similar to my other shot "~Lost~" but oh well... I promised Andreas that I'd show my ugly face again and put a pic on ;) Oh which brings me to another thing... I'd like to say the hugest thanks to our dear Andreas for the shot he dedicated to me: The great dedi
That's all from me now folks... Thanks for all comments on my previous pic... They are much appreciated! My Previous pic...

Sorry about the pricking and stinging!!! I love your compo here. Not sure if it's my screen or eyes - but looks like you lost abit of sharpness. Not normal for you - that's why I think it might be me...

You mean it's Spring somewhere:0) I like this single Daffodil shot. I like the way the dark brings out the yellow. And about that nettle, I remember well the first time I was introduced to it...not fun!!lol Take care.

Ok Kai, I'll tell you something you should always remember, the stinging nettle has an antidote, and it's usually very close to the nettle itself, and that is the fern, take some of the newest growth of the fern and rub it betwenn your fingers to try to get some juice, them apply to where the nettles have stung you, this neutralizes the sting !!!!!! It really works!!! Mother nature is wonderful like that and usually has a cure for everthing, pretty close by!!!! Gorgeous daffy!!!! Nice to see you again too!!!!
