Description

Well has been a long while since I have posted anything. Life 101 has kicked in I guess.. First lost internet for some time.. then moved halfway across the country. And now in a state of oblivion. My mom has been sick for some years now and just seems to get worse. Couple months ago she went in for yet another surgery and ended up having 4 small strokes and one very large one that left her very little use of her legs, and her speech very impaired. As time goes by her problems seem to accumalate into so much more. Talking to her yesterday there seems to be issues with her right kidney which is only half functional and her only one left now. Her left kidney ceased to function about 3 years ago. Over the last some odd years I have prepared myself for the time when I wouldn't have her with me, but then you get settled in this plae where you think everything is going to be okay for awhile and nothing bad happens, and then WHAM.. it starts all over again with trying to accept that yes.. she is not invinsible and yes she is more or less dying.. this woman who is soo amaxing and strong and caring and ever the smarta$$! Denial is huge right now... not knowing what the next day will lead to is VERY frustrating to me specially since I am so far from her. My dream.. which i know is just that is that she would be okay and that all of the sickness never came upon her. My hope.. is that things start to work for her and that what time on this planet she has can be a better one without worries. My prayer is that she always be with me somehow and someway and that for her, she live the rest of her days with peace and happiness or as much as she can have. Cherish the ones whom you love, enjoy them and live life to its fullest!

Lil girl, this image is absolutely gorgeous and sad at the same time. I know you've been having such a difficult time and now even more so with your Mom being so ill. You are giving your Mom the greatest gift by loving her and as a Mom, I know how precious that is. I will keep you and your Mom in my thoughts and prayers. May the joy of your love for each other help ease the pain you both endure. Blessings, lil girl.
