Pavia - Lombardia - Italy - A view of Castle Visconteo Built in the 12th century, the Castle Visconteo was home to the Visconti and Sforza families. It now hosts several museums. The Castle of Pavia was begun in 1360 under the leader of the large engineer Bernardo from Venice. It was balanced, with four towers and with a wide ditch that it came replenished of water.During the 150 years that the castle had inhabited from the Visconti and from the Sforza, all the large Italian Mister and foreigners visited to go it hunting in the attractive park that it is extended from the same castle until the Certosa. In 1495 Ludovico il Moro , just become Duke, called to decorate the salt of the castle Leonardo da Vinci and the Bramante: Leonardo paint the lounges in blue color sky and yourselves fece to apply some stars in gold sequin; Bramante put to the sides of the bridge raising some warriors with scimitars and of the paggi that had the function of to receive the hosts.In 1600 and 1700 the lounges had been whitened. At present are seat of the Museums of the Risorgimento and Roman gallico. CIAO my dear friends!! You have a country that is full of history and we both have latin origins. Next Monday I'll start working for an Italian company and I can't wait till my first trip to Italy to see all these wonderful places by myself. Have a great weekend.
