I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

I think it is a marvelous job of recreating the desert areas. I never see the horny toads in Texas ,but Oklahoma has thousands. I would catch as a child and keep them a short time, then release them. wolves are not to prevalent in the desert, but it's your desert so you can have anything you want!!!

Super panoramic image. Looks like a hot and lonely place but the animals don't seem to be worried. Excellent Bryce work nancy. well done!

Lol!! I would have used coyotes but this is all I had. Tried to stretch their legs and make them skinnier and rangier looking but they still look like wolves. Oh the shortcomings of my purse, lol.

Excellent image Nancy ... interesting depiction of the southwestern desert region. And if it'll make you feel any better I've seen coyotes that look like these. The well fed ones that is. Well done! *****

Well done desert scene. My wife and I both love the desert (at night it's the coolest place). A beautyful but hostile environment teeming with life.

I've never seen this part of my country but this is what I would imagine the desert to look like...vast, barren and beautiful. The two lone coyotes really add so much to this and make it come alive. Excellent artwork hon.

WHoah! Late to the party? This looks great sweetie! I love the desert!! You captured the bareen lanscape well! You must teach me how to get the XFrof plants into Bryce...I have many, but can't figure out how to import them...Excellent job!!

Looks like the place to me. I lived outside of Scottsdale, Az. for several years and I think you got it about right. When I was a little(r) boy back in Texas we had horny toads in our yard, but as the years went by their numbers diminished until now the kids there don't know what one looks like. Times change, I guess. Great job here! Nice distance to the moutains on the horizon back there, and that sky is beautiful!

oh wait!! I see a horny toad right there is the shadow of the grass. Poking his head out! Looks like he's saying..."who me, you looking for me?" Excellent rendition of the desert, looks so darned hot you could fry an egg in the sand. LOL! There is a magazine called Arizona Highway, now if you like desert scenes, its definately a feast for the eyes.

I'd say it was a good choice. Yes, it can be hell when trying to adjust to vision when it's dependent on a purse. But then, that often spurs a road of creativity. Actually, it seems to me that the foreground coyote actually looks like a coyote. This is excellent!
Li-An
Whoa! It's perfect desert!
lemonjim
watch out for the Gila monsters! scorpions in yer boot!
jocko500
hope those coyotes not eating them all lol cool looking
Bernado
Great scenario and atmosphere. Coyotes? Wolfes? I thought they were a couple of stray dogs looking for a horned toad! 8-) Well, I suppose, I can't count them as being naked...

I've not been out west for quite some time, but if I remember it accturately, it looked a lot like this! Excellent!
