I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

This is just Too Cool! An Amazeing Fractured Fairytale in a visual format. Too bad the kids wouldn't work, that would have been a Bonus. The number of entries in the contest shouldn't matter this is a Winner! Outstanding work Nancy & Peace

BWAHAHAHAA!!! First prize in my book darlin!!! What a wonderful play on words/pop culture! And the image is smashing! I can really feel those waves moving!! And all the little details, the old woman, the man, the cat, the clouds! It's delightful!! But what does a deisel engine in a big leather boot sound like? ; ) Awesome!!

What a fun image. That's a Really cool water texture, I don't know if I've seen anything like it before. And of course the title/play on words is very amusing. Excellent work!

Thanks everyone! That's a pup up on the top deck...he's standing on his hind legs, looking over the railing. I wanted to render this larger but couldn't. Not deisel, she's burning the bread while she's busy steering the boat, lol.

I guessed before the image finished downloading! you have the whole story there -and more- all at once. The boot rocks! I know and love that water material too, never got the horizon quite as nice as this, though.

Big smiley for this one, Nancy! One way to avoid those crashes is to pose, render and save in DAZ Studio. Then re-launch DAZ Studio from within Bryce, open your saved file and close DAZ to transfer objects to Bryce. I often had problems with images with .obj's imported via File Menu - this stopped those crashes. Oh and don't forget to Break DAZ Studio link from Objects menu before making any changes or you'll lose them....

Brilliant illustration. The cat must be pretty worried surrounded by the water.I'm getting the same problem with Bryce 5.5 crashing when I place too many models. Sometimes rebooting the machine allows me to put a couple more models on before it gives up completely. Although mac4qman sounds like the best way ahead.

When I saw the title I was expecting another thing. Excellent idea and realization. The water looks excellent. Very funny fantasy job. I suppose the cat and the dog aren't much happy there because they can't go exploring. Good luck on the contest!
