Description

This little boat was donated to Astoria, Oregon and was used in the burial ritual by the local Indians. The background is Youngs Bay and the Youngs Bay Bridge. Due to the haze on the day that the photo was taken, the photo of the distant Pacific Ocean did not turn out. A good day for all, and many blessing to you. Good shot and POV of the canoe, ClaudiaLee. As for the background, along with using filters, you can save the day if you have Photoshop, which has the capability of turning a sow's ear into a silk purse.

very interesting tradition and haze can be a problem.it gets so bad here that downtown is hardly visible from where I live.still an excellent capture of the shrine
