"I live a non-journalist's life. I look for the texture of ordinary things." ~ Nuala O'Faolain
Exploring the varied sights, textures and plays of light within a furniture store. This one goes out to Marlene on her birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARLENE). She is certainly one of the major threads that weaves Renderosity's Photography community together. She is also one of the sweetest people I know. I hope everyone has a great week! ----- Thank you for your lassie comments on my last upload, Damsel In Distress. To answer a question, that photo (as well as the one above) was taken with my wife's ultracompact 5MP camera in supermacro mode, the Pentax Optio S5i. No special lenses were used. No flash. The screen was used to steady the camera.

How does one capture an image like this? How close were you when you took this? I think my camera can take them 7cm away (about 3"). It's just so cool. Thanks for sharing and Happy Birthday! to Marlene :)
