To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

I love the subdued, dark reddish colors and the intensity of her silent stare. Your verse reminds me of one I wrote many years ago. "In a dream last night I had a dream; I dreamed that I slept and I dreamed that I dreamed." This work is one of my favorites of yours. Thanks for sharing.

That's a very interesting question that you've posed today. What if it is? Would this be a pleasant dream? Or a nightmare? For some ... it's not that hard to choose. I love the "soft" feel of this image. The subject slightly off center ... drawing your eye to them. The script just barely visible. Fantastic Mina !! I love it.
