Description

Another shot from Earthshaker. This time featuring Hammerfall from Sweden. This shot was taken during Hearts on Fire - a song made a little more famous by the 2006 Swedish woman's Olympic Curling Team, who shot a video to the song as promotion for the team. During the song, every time they sang the word 'Fire' the dragons would shoot off. It was over 30C and the fire was HOT. I wouldn't have wanted to be on stage! Stefan must have been melting! Some of you have asked who else played at the festival. The more famous names included Testament, Venom, Saxon, Jon Oliva's Pain (founding member of Savatage). Newer bands included Lordi, Opeth, Arch Enemy and many others.

I've seen the Dragons at a Kid Rock show...they are very cool..it's actually a propane tank... Love them !! Testament..seen them a few times..Saxon..wow are they still around?? I think i rented them a PA YEARS ago...Opeth is fantastic..Got turned on to them a few years ago..

OMG! I love these bands! I would have loved to be here for this! Incredible shot of the action and I'm surpirsed the lens didn't melt! LOL! Fantastic capture and let's hear it for European concerts that kick ass over US shows! Awesome!
