Did you know that it broke my heart to leave? Never before nor ever again will I love another as deeply as I do you I found in you a dream I never believed would come true Saying goodbye in your arms I cried every night choking back tears as I tried to push away all my fears We both knew I could not stay and so I left you there with all the memories we shared Some say space and time make the heart grow fonder others believe space and time make the heart wonder Trust in me let not all my tears be in vain I never meant to cause you pain They say faith is the last resort of foolish men the question is can their broken hearts mend? can it ever truly love again? All I know is that I still cry some nights but you
