Description
Emma makes her way through the sewers under the Vixen Temple. Plumes of warm breath escape her mouth as she curses in the putrid, frosty air. All the secret entrances and hidden doorways she and April once used to gain entry into the Vixen Temple are now either barred, bricked over or heavily guarded. She has spent an hour down here, exploring every twisting tunnel, sometimes having no option but to crawl through the filthy water, only to come up empty-handed. At one point, while watching an officious-looking Arcanorian guard through a small grating in the floor, she almost believed he had sensed her presence. Soon another guard had come to fetch him - or perhaps to relieve him - but it was a frightening moment.
I don't think I can do this anymore, she thinks, upset at the thought of not being able to rescue any more young girls held captive in the Vixen Temple. Oh April, where are you? Why aren't you here? I don't know what to do, and I'm not brave like you are.
Something splashes in a tunnel to her left. She raises her crossbow as a dark figure slinks around the corner out of view. Was that...an orc? she wonders. What would an orc be doing down here?
Uncertain, frustrated and more than a little spooked, Emma turns and makes her way hurriedly towards the nearest exit. A curious mixture of relief and disappointment washes over her as she steps out into the fresh air of the Sarodor wasteland. A brilliant, starry night sky looms overhead.
Where are you April? she wonders again, then sets off for home.

Impressive work on the corridor, those stones are fantastic! And the water ripple around her right boot shows your attention to detail. The ground fog adds to the eerie atmosphere, and so does the murky water and the lighting. And of course the story has me completely drawn in. Awesome!

Very nice scene. I would like to see the same scene with slightly different lighting. perhaps one casting her shadow on the wall.
