Hi Everyone.
I got into graphics by default as a way of bring to live the images in my head from a series of sci fi/fantasy books I have been writing from when I was on dialysis 6 years ago. I dispaired of getting the scenes & characters out till I found D/S & Bryce to help me as I don't have much knowlege on modelling and admire greatly those that do!BIOI live in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia with my hubby (who gave me his kidney 6yrs ago) and two dogs. A samoyed and a German Shepherd.
I write novels in an ad hoc fashion, used to write songs but novels took over there and I also used to do dressmaking until the have found the brat...er new samoyed kept 'playing' with my work and one day got a pin stuck in the roof of her mouth. Sewing got packed up and I started Teddy Bear Making and at the same time found Renderosity...as they say the rest is history!!!
Now the Kidney Transplant is going great and I am joining the dots in those books. I am also writing another novel about the kidney dramas from the POV of the German Shepherd and our previous Samoyed, Samantha pinching my script and doing thier version. It is in the edit stage at this point in time. If you would care to see the intro by the 'slighty' obnoxios Samantha IM me and I will send it to you. They may see the light of day sometime in the future but now it is fun and fantasy.
Everything here is self taught form renders to writing, songs, teddys and photography so technical knowlege is Zip, luck and "Hey that looks Ok" is 100%
See ya round the R'osity web.

Jenny, a very unique way of telling your story and yet there is still another story behind this one too. Great stuff.

I am sorry to hear of your renal failure that has got to be tough. I hope you are on the short list for a transplant and wish you all the luck in the world. I applaud you for documenting your experience and congratulate you on the unique perspective you decided to take. It's a nice touch. Our pets may not know exactly what's going on, but they do seem to have a sixth sense and know when trouble's afoot. I'm glad you find solace in their company. I like the song a lot, though I must say the last word sort of falls flat for me. Of course I cannot hear the music that goes with it, so perhaps it's fine as is. I think go might flow just a bit better than walk, and sort of ties in with the chorus. But then, I'm not a song writer. I liked both the prefaces OK, but must say that I find it hard to know who's talking when in the dog's section. I think you will need to develop some mechanism to make that plain, although Sam said, and Bambi said probably would not sound right for dogs either. Also, the Woofs get to be a little distracting. I hesitate to even make these suggestions, as this is such a deeply personal story. It seems insensitive for me to be nitpicking. Good luck with your story and your treatment, and may your dogs bring you much joy and comfort along the way. ~jon
