Description

Metonicus commented on my "A Field of Armor" pic that he dreamed that he and his biker pals had given up their Harleys for a road trip in a Sherman tank. Did it look like this M4A4 at the U.S. Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland? OK, it's not as pretty as Metonicus' bike. Cool- yes, purty - no. BTW: Check out the full size image for a better view.

A little grease and oil, and a little petrol, and you could road trip this badboy. I think I might rather road trip a Tiger, though. LOL.

A greap reportage. Once feared in Europe as the war unfolded...

hey meton.... don't be giving up that Harley for nothing... dream or no dream! lol... They are entirely tooooo much fun! I think this one needs a little "pimp my ride" kind of care! ;)

@Roland: A Tiger would be better for a slugging match, but the Sherman would be much better for the road - faster and much more reliable.

Just paint her black, put some chrome on the wheels, some loud pipes, and we'll be good to go. Thanks for the dedi. (and yeah, that was a weird dream)

I like how the color recreation makes this look like a 50s postcard.
