Description
Well, here's my second attempt at modeling in Z-Brush. This guy was done with Z-Spheres (to skin), a few edge loops and not many divisions.
I've been watching tutorials over at KurvStudios and this is what I've learned so far. By the way, I used a mouse and I only really used the Z-Add and Z-Sub (and smooth) functions as I didn't know how to get to inflate, pinch etc. when I did this.
I think this guy looks to be about 80-90 and Japanese. Maybe he's an old Buddhist monk... Maybe a samurai... Or perhaps he's just a fisherman. Either way, I like him. He looks like he's lived.
I'm only using the demo, so I couldn't save the "tool" I modelled. My computer crashed overnight so I never got to go down to a nice level of detail. Oh well, it's all practice.
Z-Brush is an AMAZING piece of software! I never could have done this in Lightwave or Maya.
