As long as the conditions are tolerable, then I would agree about zoos. But Ive seen many where the conditions were so torturous that the animal would be better off dead so that the spirit could be set free. And preserving a species in cages just for people to gawk at does not justify the means. Now a lot of zoos are striving now to create as close to a natural environment as possible. Those are fine, but I still remember so many animals Ive felt so sorry for. But enough of that. This is a wonderful photograph!
