Hello All !!
I shot this at my cousin's son John's wedding. I took some better regular romantic wedding posed shots but I love this one for the fun and laughter here .. This wasn't supposed to happen. A BIG gust of wind came as I shot this and the twosome in love are handling it quite well, don;t you think? SO here is my cousin Kathy's fun son (he is a helicoptor pilot studying to be with the coast guard ...) In Our family , John was is the oldest / firstborn out of 16 great Grandchilden my Grandparents had!!
I knew there was a pro there to do the regular wedding shots, so I wanted and had tried to get some fun natural spontaneous shots of the two as that showed their fun-loving playful personalities. They had a hard time being serious for the professional wedding photographer ( who btw was amazing and handled it very well and kept noticing me all over the place and kindly didn't mind ..my tiny little nikon pocket cam was no threat ;O) lol hehe) ...I handpainted the hand up out into the frame as her upper hand was cut off and I wanted it to be all THERE LOL!!...
SO in this shot here- they are supposed to be doing romantic serious poses by the golf course from the balcony view before the reception, BUT THE wind blew her veil over her head and all over the place and just made the two even funnier .. it was a sight to see and so funny ..." kiss her tenderly !! " ,

So beautiful Kim!!! Wow! I agree with the others that this will be one of their most favorite photos because it truly shows the spirit and fun of their relationship!! :-) She is a gorgeous bride and I love the lighting that shows the delicate veil and detail on her dress when I enlarge the photo to full size. You did a great job with her hand too... I would never have noticed it was painted in if you hadn't told me. :-) Funny story..and a beautiful wedding photo! hehehe

Great shot! Reminds me of the one I took last year in my gallery called "Happy Bride" Good job on the "finger painting" too! I would not have realized had you not brought it to my attention. (Sorry I have not commented on your other shots lately. My computer crashed. Bought a new one. I the process of getting it "trained" to do my bidding... ...long process). Oooooh! What a perfectly timed photo Kimmie!!!! So filled with love and joy. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! I feel like a nag...but id love for it to be a bit smaller though, so that i dont have to scroll up and down and sideways to see it all. I feel im losing that POW-effect when i have to do that. Another thing to consider is those that view photos compressed within the browser...the bigger the original...the more it gets compressed and the lower the quality. Have a wonderful day my friend. #:o)
