Description

"A few minutes ago every tree was excited, bowing to the roaring storm, waving, swirling, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their songs never cease." ~ John Muir

We've been getting some very dramatic skies here in Florida with tropical depressions and late summer thunderstorms. He is photo from this weekend just before a thunderstorm hit, drenching the area. This is a single photo, not a composite, and the colors in the clouds were there. I think my lens emphasized them and I was not using a polarizer. Regarding my Frankengator gallery image, I believe the material was faux gator hide and not the real thing. The object pictured was a footrest. ----- Thank you for your tempest(uous) comments on my last upload, Gathering Gloom.
