Description

I never know what I'll post, a rndering or a photo or something else... I went to visit this little local 'Monkey Zoo' couple of months ago. This piture was taken through a dense wire fence, with the lens right up ahainst the wire. I tried to lose most of the wire with help of manual focus and lighting. You can sill see some of it. The cute little monkey with a dejected look on his face is I believe a Tamarin monkey. I think they're one of the smallest monkeys out there. If I remeber rigt, he was sitting on the perch abot 15-20 feet away. I can't believe this photo actually turned out half ways decent. Don't you just want to take him home and cuddle him? I wonder if monkeys can smile? Thank you all for viewing and leaving encouragig feedback on my past images. It's a joy to come here and share things wih such a wonderful positive group :) Hugz, Connie

Beautiful photo with a cute model, a splendid light and color and a very suitable dark background. I was first thinking that the monkey was a bit too centered in the photo, but the piece of wood at the right gives a good balance to the composition indeed. Nice framing too.

It is a golden lion tamarind. These are wonderful little chaps and I'd rather take him back to his environment, if we weren't destroying it too quickly for him. A great capture and I think it might have been a good thing to have more of the cage in the image...just to give the context to his body language. Great image!! :) Rob

It turned out very well for you, you should have gathered the courage long ago. They are indeed very cute and your postwork successfully hid any wire mesh - excellent.
