Description

Saw this wee dude hopping through the leaves in the back yard. When he (she?) landed on a large fallen branch I managed to sneak a few pics, and this is the best of them. Such a cute little frog. Somewhat more recently a tree frog actually leaped onto my arm, but I was too slow to take a picture so we'll have to make do with this. Just so you know there's been some postwork done here other than the usual cropping, brightness adjustment and framing stuff I always do: I've sharpened the eye a bit and blurred the already-blurry background to get rid of some grain. I also took the shot from a ways away so it's not technically macro, but the perspective is such that it looks more like a macro than anything else so it goes here. This image is dedicated to butter, a fabulous Poser and postwork artist who hasn't posted here in a long time. Not sure what happened to him. Butter, please come back and contribute more pants-pissingly awesome artwork. I miss you. EDIT: I read the dictionary definition of a mental-ability-related word I used in this entry, and although a lot of people will tell you it's not a slur, it sure sounds like one when you read its definition, so I took it out. Sorry about all that.
