Description

Wings3D, Poser6, Vue5I, Gimp2 The inspiration to this image came from watching the movie Appleseed. I used mostly shades of grey and brown for the environment to give it a more depressing look. Since the character is laying in a ruin, I wanted to show how small the protection from the environment is. Therefor I rendered the image twice. Once normal, for the dry ground, and a second time for the wet ground. In the second image I copied the model of the ruins, displaced it slightly to the top and gave it the dirty water material. Then I imported the two images into GIMP2 and deleted the parts of the wet image where I wanted dry ground. The water falling from the top floor is a metablob composed out of 125 ellipsoids (spheres deformed in z direction). The cans are modelled in Wings3D. Ruins by Stonemason (DAZ). Rain model from RDNA. Crows (on the tank) and spider from Noggins (DAZ).
