Description

Another image inspired by the movie Appleseed. In the opening scene of the movie there is a long sequence in which the heroine is chased by a tank with a Gatling gun. It is one of the best action-scenes I have ever seen with this emotionless unstoppable tank whose fire penetrates all cover. I tried to reproduce this in this image. Of course the main problem is how to condense an action-scene, which is shown from different perspectives, into a single image. Here both combatants have to be shown at the same time. Yet I wanted to show the force of the bullets by penetrating the walls. That left quite some constrains on the perspective ;-) . The ruins in the foreground are made by Vue primitives from which I have subtracted terrains to give them the destroyed look. The cans are modelled in Wings3D. Used SkinVue2 for the girl.
