Description

After a few more days, Mary's ship 'La Sirene' is getting near Margiana's home port, but to get there they must negotiate a narrow straights. As they approach, who should already be at anchor there but Captain Caroline DuBois' ship, 'The Black Heart'! It has outmanoeuvred La Sirene and got there in advance, still after capturing Margiana and extracting a ransom for her. And seeking revenge on Mary and her crew for the earlier rescue. Mary's ship holds off for a while, but they know that to get to the harbour, they must sooner or later engage in deadly battle with Capt. Caroline's waiting ship... ** To Be Continued ** This is a bit of a departure from the previous story images in that it is mainly a Vue Render (with a few figures) rather than the other way around. I've even selected the Vue rather than the Poser section - that is bound to confuse someone! But it seemed the best way to illustrate this chapter of the story, apart from a "looking through the telescope" type pic which I used way back in #2 of the story. So I hope I am forgiven! It was also an excuse to have a full pic of the ships. More figure-based pics next time... Many thanks for looking and thanks for all the recent feedback! Cheers, Phil.

It's good!!!And you are right my friend...probably you loose some comments this time if you are not in the favourite artists' list, but you are right, this is a vue render and you must keep your idea!!!even if it will cost you something less!!!Keep going you'll find your crew again and more next time!!!And the fidels will remain!!!!

This is an excellent image. The composition is great. I like the shadows and the lighting. Very powerful view of the ship. You have to be true to your art self, so I think you did the right thing in the way you presented this!

Excellent scenery of both ships and what I love the most is that they are "populated" - details make such a difference! I love it! :)

Another excellent transition scene - the tools you use should not matter. You stayed true to the story - I've had to switch back and forth between "Mixed Media" and "Daz Studio" myself...
