Thank you for all your comments and visits to the partial lunar eclipse.
This is another collection of photos of the lion cub which was quarantined. It was so playful and apparently missed its family. For those who wanted a little bigger version, click on the image.

Beautiful and detailed closeups of the bored youngster, Piet! The fur and whiskers are greatly enhanced by the fine lighting. Love those guileless eyes! The cat seems in a virtual trance in the bottom photo. It should be happy when it gets back with its own kind.
