Description

The Viceroy, Hannah Kellermann, is an amiable soul, as well as being highly astute. The new President of Skye, Jessica Morales, has made some extraordinarily inflammatory remarks about planet Skye's position in the Galactic Alliance. Well, the G.A. isn't about to tolerate the secession of any system; you don't go to all that trouble to unify a galaxy, just to allow it to fragment again. Kellermann, though, will do all she can to avoid pointless violence - only, right now, she isn't sure what kind of reception committee she has. Absolute nightmare to render. Poser (Firefly) flatly refused to do four V3s together, even when I separated the ladies from their shadows (four shadows together? not a chance!). "The Core" is by Stonemason, from DAZ. Annika hair and Estio hair also from DAZ. The scifi suit for GND2 is from WWW.XURGE3D.COM. Kiri Te hair from 3DCommune. Planet Gun was by Moebius87 and Ajax, from here, but doesn't seem to be available any more. So far, I havewn't been able to get Star City to render successfully in Poser, but it looks terrific in Vue. Consequently, I did the background in Vue.

Interesting use of the incidence angle shader. Most uses I've seen has been to mimic electron microscope images but this gives the suits kind of a glass sss look. I never really thought of it as having the ability to make a suit look more erotic but three out of four suits seem to testify loud and clear. I commiserate with the challange of rendering multiple characters in Poser along with all their hi-poly clothes (not to mention sets too, even though I just did). BTW, I've had a lot of success doing the sets seperately and letting the ground plane cast the shadows on the pre-rendered background. It helps with the geometry overload. (well, I call it success.) ; ) cheers

Considering the challenge you had with this piece ... bravo. It's wonderful to come here whenever you've made a new piece to see what you've done. Nice on the eyes. :)

How in the world did you get that neon glow effect in the uniforms. It's amazing.
