Description

Tx for all of the helpful and wonderful comments on yesterday's image. I was doing the artistic thing with this one again and really liked the metallic feel to this. I know it's got some motion blur issues. The original even had the drops creating light trails. Some thing I'm going to play with...

Beautiful tone and typography. I like this composition as well, and that falling drop look mighty crisp and clear. Well done. #:o)

I have just looked at your "drop" series and have read some of the comments regarding speed. The thing to note is that the max sync speed of the 350D is 1/200 sec....which means that you can't use the flash above that speed. Using an expensive add-on speedlight will not help...the cam's sync speed will remain at 1/200 sec....although there are some work arounds to this, by covering up contact pins etc. Drop shots work much better with the non-DSLR cams....the flash can be used at the higher speeds because there is no "shutter" or mirror flip in play....so, sync is not an issue. All in all, these worked out very well...I esp like the first in this series...and also like the creativity in your postwork! Congrats!
