Description

Finally Orion is back in my night sky. Taken with a really cheap ST80 telescope and a really expensive cooled CCD camera. Exposure is 10 minutes total. Taken as 20 x 30 sec exposures using my Kleenex supply to wipe the dew off the telescope lens between every shot. Us astrophotographers are dedicated, stupid or just wierd. Whatever, we do it all night long so that cannot be bad.

I love astrophotography but I do not practice it... too complicated for me ;) Whatever, I admire when someone can perform such good shot. Thanks for sharing and good evening to you, G.

wow... amazing that you can do that! cant be too much of a cheap telescope, i remember having a cheap one as a kid and orion's nebula was just the same as a star in my vision, maybe just a bit of a colour difference! Would be interesting to see how all this is done, because you have to account for the earth's rotation as well! Good job :)

Wonderful to see Orion Nebula in this way !!!! I'm impressed by your photographies of our sky. Astonomy is really a very interesting and dreamy science, and each night I could I stay for a few moment to read the big book of the sky, where ever I am... Orion and the Pleiades are my favorites ones..... Thank you for this moment of relax and dream. To look at the sky is always a very peaceful and pleasant moment for me.
