Description

Here is Roseland standing in the sand intill she sink here. My wife is with the big sunglasses. In the back ground is the normal waves of the Gulf of Mexico. I got more wave like every one esle but why bore you. I like to show the photos that is off the beaten path. And I guess you wonder why I fram it like this and the picture is not straight in the fram? I held the camera which is a underwater throw away camera and I took the photo a little crooked. Look in the fram and you will see how the real photo was as it came out of the camera. If I straighten out the photo it would have cut out my wife which shows the top of the sand. thanks for looking and comments

Wonderful and descriptive shot. I liked the tilted image and the back one as well for presentation. The gulf beaches are mostly fairly flat compared to other shorelines and the gentle crawl up that the water does will bury you in sand. When I lived near Galveston when I was in high school, there was more than one silly teenager who attended a late-night beach party, wandered off down the beach and came back to find, not only that their car was caught by the turning tide, but it was slowly sinking in the sand! Hard to explain to your parents when you told them you were going to the library instead of a beach party. LOL

Oh if you have a thow away camera. Get the cd when you get the film made. The cd will show it as it came out of the camera. At lest that is what the photo person who do that told me. I mess up and did not get the cd; just the prints. I saw their machine will auto fix the dark and light and then print. I wish I had know. Now they say it will cost $2.99 for the cd and $0.29 a image on the cd. will cost about $14 U.S. money now. lol would have cost $2.99 up front. This is my first time with throw away cameras. I also got images they did not print too because the light and dark is not there; just playing around to see what I get on the images and the printer machine will not print them. Do not wish to sent $14 to see something that may not be good.

Seems like a lot of waves for the Gulf but I've only really spent any time there on the west coast of Florida. The water is so warm there and I suppose that if you're sinking into the sand as well you might never want to get out anyway. Great presentatin with the unique framing!

Neat idea, and I like the presentation. Hey, did you take any with her burried up to her neck in sand? you know, with just her head sticking out, that would be cool! Great work, you're on the cutting edge jocko!

I would think that to be scary, sinking in the sand? She doesn't seem too worried...

Cool shot, Jock! I once (temporarily) lost a boot doing that. The tide was coming in and I couldn't wriggle free! lol! It's good to see my old stomping grounds again.
