I didn't see it the first way but it was nice to give the eyes a break. Especially as I always cry at weddings! A touching piece. I could smell the live steel waiting for the coals. The tension was well done too, I kept waiting for Da to show up as well. Thanks for sharing. BJ

I was wondering when you would post this!!! You already know how I feel about this story. One of my very favorites of yours. Outside of your childrens stories that is. You are such a romantic! This reads as wonderful now as it did the first time I read. And so very deserving of first place. This is just one of those stories that each time you read you pick up another nuance you missed the first time and find yourself falling in love with the characters even more. EY ~Michelle~
